Biography

Hugo Henrique (born Hugo Henrique de Paula on June 1st, 2004) is a Brazilian singer-songwriter from Barueri, São Paulo, who began performing on television as a child and, by age 10, was already writing songs that would later be recorded by major sertanejo artists, including Marília Mendonça. After spending part of his early career in a youth-oriented sertanejo format, he gradually moved into a solo path that became more visible with projects such as ONErpm Showcase (Acústico) [Ao Vivo] in 2019, Sem Filtro (Ao Vivo em Uberlândia) in 2022, and the songwriting-focused set Autoral in 2024, which included "Ausência." In the same period, he remained active both as a performer and as a composer for other artists, a dual role that became a recurring part of his public profile in Brazilian media. His next major step came with Vão Falar Que Foi Sorte (Ao Vivo) in 2024, a live project built around songs such as "Vão Falar Que Foi Sorte" with Gustavo Mioto and "Dona do Mel" with Lauana Prado. In 2025, he followed with the audiovisual project Sonho - Ao Vivo, which generated tracks including "Quem Melhor Do Que Nós Dois," "Terminou Pra Que" with Léo Foguete, and "Menina de Ouro," while also bringing him onto national TV formats including Encontro and Viver Sertanejo. In late 2025 he revisited one of his best-known songs with a new version of "Mala," and in 2026 he added another major title to his catalog with "Processo Delicado," a collaboration with Ana Castela.
