Biography
Danilo e Davi are a Brazilian sertanejo duo who turned their passion for songwriting into a full-fledged career as performers, thanks to the mentorship of Marcos, from the duo Marcos & Belutti. Initially focused on writing songs for others, they decided to form a duo and spent a year crafting their debut album Prazer, Danilo e Davi, released in 2022, which featured 14 tracks, including 12 original compositions, and was introduced by the single "Retrato Falado." Building on the success of their first release, they launched the Escolhas project, starting with the hit "Pode Ou Não Pode" featuring MC Danny, followed by an EP and a full-length album that highlighted their blend of romantic and modern sertanejo sounds. In 2023, Danilo e Davi completed the trilogy with Escolhas Vol. 3, adding 11 songs, including three new ones, and a major collaboration with Murilo Huff on the single "Duas Certezas." In June 2024, the duo dropped the live LP Toma Essa Verdade, followed by a second volume later that year.
