ZÃ© Felipe is the stage name of Brazilian sertanejo singer JosÃ© Felipe Rocha Costa, born on April 21, 1998, in GoiÃ¢nia, GoiÃ¡s. The son of sertanejo artist Leonardo, one half of the duo Leandro e Leonardo, ZÃ© Felipe learned his first guitar chords from his father and quickly began performing publicly on various occasions. A significant milestone in his early career was his participation in his father's live album and DVD Leonardo â 30 Anos in December 2013. He performed a captivating medley of "Deixaria Tudo," "Te Amo Demais," and "CoraÃ§Ã£o Espinhado," which marked his first major public appearance. After signing with Sony Music in 2014, ZÃ© Felipe performed on the popular Brazilian live entertainment show DomingÃ£o do FaustÃ£o, showcasing his talent to a wider audience. His studio debut, VocÃª e Eu, released in October of that year, was a commercial success, selling over 50,000 copies and landing all three singlesâ"Saudade de VocÃª," "VocÃª Mente," and "VocÃª e Eu"âin the Top 10 of the Brazilian charts. He followed this success with the release of Proibido Ã© Mais Gostoso in June 2016, which sold 40,000 copies and was certified gold by Pro-MÃºsica Brasil. The album included the chart-topping single "NÃ£o Me Toca" with Ludmilla as well as the Top 5 entries "Maquiagem Borrada" and "CurtiÃ§Ã£o." In 2017, ZÃ© Felipe issued the live album and DVD Na Mesma Estrada, his first release for the label Som Livre. Another live LP titled Ao Vivo em GoiÃ¢nia came out in 2019 and was certified platinum in Brazil. Preceded by the single "Voltei Pra Cachorrada," the EP Coloca o Capacete was released in 2023. Two years later, ZÃ© Felipe expanded his range with the Country Sessions EP, a six-track project that fused sertanejo with country elements and revealed a more introspective side to his music. Alongside this release, he kept his singles pipeline strong with collaborations like âBailÃ£oâ with Grelo, âPense em Mimâ alongside Theuzinho, and âViciado em Ver Ela Descerâ with Kew, MC Ryan SP & DJ LK da EscÃ³cia.
