Biography

Diego Kistenmacher Pereira (Diego) and ElÃas Anderson de Souza (Victor Hugo), friends from UberlÃ¢ndia, emerged as songwriters before stepping into the spotlight as performers in 2009, penning hits for artists like Cristiano AraÃºjo, Henrique & Juliano, and Matheus & Kauan. Their own recording debut came in 2014 with the self-titled album Diego & Victor Hugo, followed by No Seu Mundo in 2016. In 2017 they released the live CD/DVD Sem ContraindicaÃ§Ã£o, featuring the breakout single "Sem ContraindicaÃ§Ã£o" with Bruno & Marrone; this was followed by the EP Querosene e o ViolÃ£o (2018). Their live album Ao Vivo em BrasÃlia and the CD/DVD VerÃ£ozinho arrived in 2019 and 2020, and they reached nationwide fame in 2021 with the smash hit âFacasâ featuring Bruno & Marrone, included on the critically acclaimed live album EquilÃbrio (Ao Vivo). The duo maintained a prolific output: in 2023 they released two live volumes, Pra BB, Vol. 1 (Ao Vivo) and Pra BB, Vol. 2 (Ao Vivo). In 2024, they issued the live album BÃºzios Paradise (Ao Vivo) and singles such as âFoto na Estante (Ao Vivo).â Their momentum carried into 2025 with singles including âTubarÃµes (Ao Vivo),â and the EP Ao Vivo em UberlÃ¢ndia Vol. 01, culminating in the live album Ao Vivo em UberlÃ¢ndia Vol. 02, reaffirming their position as leading figures in contemporary sertanejo.
