Hostage Calm was an American punk rock band formed in 2007. The group debuted with a demo 7-inch and released their first album, Lens (2008). In 2010, they released the album Hostage Calm. The band supported LGBT equality and released the protest song "Ballots/Stones". Their album Please Remain Calm (2012) reflected social upheaval during the American recession and featured orchestral arrangements. Hostage Calm toured with acts including Anti-Flag and The Wonder Years. In 2014, they released their final album, Die on Stage, before disbanding. Their final show occurred in 2015.
