Biography

Hidemi Ishikawa (born July 13, 1966 in Aichi Prefecture) is a Japanese idol singer who symbolizes the 1980s. 1981, she was chosen out of over 50,000 people in an audition under the name Hideki Saishiro, and made her debut the following year with "Fairy Age. Together with her peers Kyoko Koizumi and Akina Nakamori, she was dubbed the "Hana no '82 group," and her healthy legs and hard-working singing style won her popularity among the tea party crowd. On December 18, 1985, she released her 17th single , "Siren no Shonen - Distant and Embracing". At the end of 1985, he made his first appearance at the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen (Red and White Singing Contest), where he sang "Ai no Jubun (Spell of Love)" at the top of the bill. She retired from show business in 1990.
