Biography

Henri Antti Viljami Sorvali, known as Henri Sorvali, was born on October 19, 1978, in Finland and is recognized for his roles as a guitarist and keyboardist. Sorvali began his musical journey with the pagan metal band Moonsorrow, where he played guitar and keyboards. He also contributed to Finntroll, another black metal band, and occasionally performed with The Rasmus in the late 1990s. In addition to these bands, Sorvali led the folk/ambient project Lunar Womb as a solo artist starting from 1999. His versatility extended to session work on Ensiferum's self-titled debut album and Glittertind’s mini-album Til Dovre Faller. He composed the soundtrack for the 2009 Finnish horror film Black Blooded Brides of Satan and has worked as a music producer for Rovio Entertainment.
