Biography

Helena Zeťová was a Czech singer known for her contributions to pop rock music. She began touring with a rock band at 15 and gained prominence after participating in the television singing competition Do-Re-Mi in 2000. In 2001, she formed the girl group Black Milk with Tereza Kerndlová and Tereza Černochová. Their debut album Modrej dým was released in 2002, featuring the hit single "I’m So Excited," which reached number 4 on the Czech charts and remained at the top for several weeks. The group won the Český slavík award for Best Newcomer in 2002 and achieved platinum status with their debut album in 2003. Following internal conflicts, Black Milk disbanded on March 31, 2005. Zeťová then pursued a solo career, releasing her first solo album Ready to Roll in October 2005. She passed away on December 20, 2024, following a fall from her home in Prostřední Bečva.
