Biography
Helena ZeÅ¥ová was a Czech singer known for her contributions to pop rock music. She began touring with a rock band at 15 and gained prominence after participating in the television singing competition Do-Re-Mi in 2000. In 2001, she formed the girl group Black Milk with Tereza Kerndlová and Tereza Äernochová. Their debut album Modrej dým was released in 2002, featuring the hit single "Iâm So Excited," which reached number 4 on the Czech charts and remained at the top for several weeks. The group won the Äeský slavÃk award for Best Newcomer in 2002 and achieved platinum status with their debut album in 2003. Following internal conflicts, Black Milk disbanded on March 31, 2005. ZeÅ¥ová then pursued a solo career, releasing her first solo album Ready to Roll in October 2005. She passed away on December 20, 2024, following a fall from her home in ProstÅednà BeÄva.
