Hayseed Dixie, an American band formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2000, is known for blending bluegrass and hard rock music. Their debut album A Hillbilly Tribute to AC/DC, released on April 17, 2001, featured acoustic hillbilly-styled reworkings of AC/DC songs and sold over 250,000 copies in the US from 2001 to 2003. The band performed at major festivals such as Glastonbury in 2005, Download Festival in 2007, and Roskilde Festival. Notable songs include "Monster Mash" (2006) and "Bouncing Betty Boogie" (2007). In January 2015, they released Hair Down To My Grass, which spent three weeks at the Number 1 spot on the UK Country Chart.
