Biography

Haris Džinović, born Haris on September 26, 1951 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a folk singer, songwriter, and composer. Džinović began his musical journey in 1981 when he founded the group Sar e Roma, with whom he recorded three albums between 1982 and 1985: Kao Cigani, Kiko, Kiko, and Romske pjesme (Gypsy Songs). In 1989, Džinović transitioned to a solo career, releasing his debut album Ostaricu necu znati that same year. His subsequent albums include Jesul' dunje procvale (1996), and Magic (2009). Džinović's work has solidified his status as one of the most recognized singers in Southeastern Europe.
