Biography

Haris DÅ¾inoviÄ, born Haris on September 26, 1951 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a folk singer, songwriter, and composer. DÅ¾inoviÄ began his musical journey in 1981 when he founded the group Sar e Roma, with whom he recorded three albums between 1982 and 1985: Kao Cigani, Kiko, Kiko, and Romske pjesme (Gypsy Songs). In 1989, DÅ¾inoviÄ transitioned to a solo career, releasing his debut album Ostaricu necu znati that same year. His subsequent albums include Jesul' dunje procvale (1996), and Magic (2009). DÅ¾inoviÄ's work has solidified his status as one of the most recognized singers in Southeastern Europe.
