Hani Mitwasi, born in 1983 in Kuwait City, is a Palestinian singer from Jordan. He pursued his passion for Spanish and Flamenco music, earning a BA in music science at the Jordan Academy of Music in 2005 and studying flamenco guitar for five years. Mitwasi released his debut album Khamrat Al Hob in 2006, featuring remakes of six Levant folklore songs in the 'Spanish-Levant' style. His second album, Barmi El Salam, followed in 2007 with a similar theme. In 2010, Mitwasi won the Jordan Music Award for Best Jordanian Artist after releasing Ozran Habibi under Platinum Records, which featured nine original tracks. He is known for his live performances, including a rendition of "Mawtini" in 2012 and a Flamenco Levant concert with Alberto Lopez in 2013. Mitwasi also served as a judge on the talent show Jordan Star in 2015 and 2017.
