Hanako Asada (born June 15, 1974 in Tokyo) is a former Japanese female idol singer who made her mark in the late 1980s, winning the grand prize in a contest in 1987 and making her major label debut the following February with the single "Suki â¡ Hate" at the age of 13. On October 5, 1988, she energetically released her third single , "Magic," which became an image song for an NHK animation. Composed by Takashi Toshimi, this song was loved by fans as a masterpiece that enhanced her dainty charm. Album information was also abundant, and she actively inserted her first album "13+" released in the same year. Yasushi Akimoto and others were involved in providing music for this work, and the following year she released her second album , "Ya!", expanding her range of expression as an artist. After changing her name, she developed her music career as a member of a vocal and dance unit from 1999.
