Hakan Peker, born February 5, 1963, in Istanbul, Turkey, is a Turkish pop singer. He gained initial attention by winning a national dance competition in 1981 and subsequently appeared in several TRT entertainment programs. Peker's music career began with the release of his first album, Bir Efsane, in 1989. His breakthrough came in 1991 with the hit single, "Hey Corç", from the album Hey Corç - Seni Unutmalı. Throughout his career, Peker released numerous albums, including Hakan Peker (1995), İllâ ki (2000), and Gece Gözlüm (2006). Notable songs include "Karam" from the 2000 album İlla ki, which became a significant hit. In 2000, Peker won Best Male Artist of the Year at the Turkey Music Awards. His discography also includes compilations such as Efsane Åarkılar (2016).
