Biography

Ha Soo-bin (born May 3, 1973, in Seoul, South Korea) is a versatile artist renowned as a singer, songwriter, music producer, architect, and fashion designer. Raised in Gangnam District, Ha grew up as the youngest child in a Roman Catholic family. Her early years were marked by health challenges and a passion for music. She began exploring music at the age of three, learning piano at five, and later mastering the violin. During her teenage years, Ha showcased her creative prowess by writing songs, essays, and short stories. Ha debuted in 1992 with her album Lisa in Love, which included hits like "Don't Leave Me Any More Pain" and "I'm Falling in Love." Her collaboration with American singer-songwriter Tommy Page earned her widespread acclaim, with the album selling over 100,000 copies. A year later, she released her second album, Ha Soo Bin II, coinciding with her 20th birthday and coming-of-age celebration. However, she abruptly stepped away from the spotlight after its release. After years of pursuing studies in music, architecture, and fashion in Canada, Ha returned in 2010 with her third album, The Persistence of Memory.
