Guido Hoffmann (born 9â¯Septemberâ¯1964 in Bohlsbach, Offenburg) is a German pop and schlager singer whose career began after completing a commercial apprenticeship and submitting demo tapes to small labels. In 1995 he released his first single, "Hallo Du!", followed by the album of the same name in 1996 under Mediaphon, marking his breakthrough. He continued to issue Himalaya (2001), Zwei Fremde (2003), Sommersymphonie (2006) and a Bestâ¯Of compilation (2011), with tracks such as "Die Legende von Culloden Moor" and "Rosen im Schnee" achieving notable radio play. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s Hoffmann maintained a steady presence on the German schlager charts, toured extensively across German-speaking regions, and collaborated with producers Howard OâMelley and Thorsten Schotten.
