Margaretha "Greta" Keller was born on February 8, 1903, in Vienna, Austria, and was a chanson singer. She began her career with dance training at age eight, followed by acting, making her debut in the Pavillon in Vienna. In 1929, she signed a recording contract with Ultraphon, leading to performances in Prague and Berlin. Over the next four decades, Keller's voice became globally recognized through various media. She appeared in several films, including The Man in Search of His Murderer (1931) and Cabaret (1972), where her voice was featured singing "Heirat". Notable albums include Greta Keller Sings Kurt Weill (1953) and Greta Keller in Concert (1975). Greta Keller died on November 4, 1977.
