Biography
Greg MacPherson, born in 1973 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada, is a Canadian singer-songwriter based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He began his music career with the release of The Year of the Record Break in 1997. Over the years, MacPherson has released several albums, including Balanced on a Pin (1999), Sun Beats Down (2007), and Mr. Invitation (2010), which was longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize. He also co-owned Disintegration Records and released albums on G7 Welcoming Committee Records and Smallman Records. His subsequent albums, Disintegration Blues (2011) and Fireball (2013), were both longlisted nominees for the Polaris Music Prize in 2014.
