GO!GO!7188 is a Japanese rock band formed in Kagoshima Prefecture in 1998. The members are Yu (guitar/vocals), Akko (bass), and Turkey (drums). the band made their major label debut in June 2000 with " Taiyo" and released their first full-length album, " Jetsugi Kaito " in December 2000. Their representative songs include " KoinoUta " (2000), " Ukifune " (2002), and " Katamari Fighter "; " Koi no Uta " was especially popular at karaoke and was certified double platinum in 2019. The band performed on a wide range of stages from live houses to the Nippon Budokan until their breakup in 2012, and had a significant impact on the Japanese rock scene with their unique musical style and high performance ability.
