Biography

Gogh Van Go, a Canadian alt-pop duo consisting of Sandra Luciantonio and Daniel Tierney, formed in Montreal in 1993. Prior to Gogh Van Go, both members were part of the country-rock group The Hodads. The duo took their name from an art magazine cover and signed with Audiogram Records. Their debut self-titled album Gogh Van Go was released in 1993, featuring notable songs such as "Bed Where We Hide" and a cover of John Lennon's "Instant Karma!". The video for "Tunnel of Trees" won Lyne Charlebois the Juno Award for Best Video in 1995. Their second album, Bliss Station, was released in 1997. In 2013, the duo reunited for a one-night-only show at the Cabaret du Mile End in Montreal, marking their first performance together since 1997. The band also recorded two new songs and performed at the Montreal International Jazz Festival in 2014.
