Biography

Glass Casket, a deathcore band from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, was formed in 2001 by Adam Cody, Blake Richardson, Dustie Waring, and Ian Blake Tuten. The band initially went by the name Gadrel and released their first demo, To Cherish a Falsity, before changing their name to Glass Casket. Their debut album, We are Gathered Here Today, was released in 2004, followed by Desperate Man's Diary in 2006. After these releases, the band became mostly inactive as members pursued other projects. In 2013, Glass Casket announced they were working on new music but did not officially reform until 2023. On January 17, 2023, it was revealed that Glass Casket had signed to Silent Pendulum Records and would release a self-titled EP later that year. The EP, released on June 9, 2023, included the lead single "Let Them Go", marking their first new material in 17 years.
