Biography
Glass Candy is a duo from Portland, Oregon, where they formed in 1996. Singer Ida No and multi-instrumentalist Johnny Jewel profess an electro-rock sound whose broad roots stretch from punk to glam rock. Their first album, Love Love Love, was released in 2003. Glass Candy has made a habit of releasing tour-only albums such as The Nite Nurses (2005) and Music Dream (2006). Released in 2007, B/E/A/T/B/O/X shows the importance of Italo disco in Glass Candy's music. In France, the band is surprised to see its 2011 song "Warm in the Winter" enter the singles charts in March 2015.
