Biography
Gladie, an American indie rock band formed in 2018 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was founded by guitarist and vocalist Augusta Koch and guitarist and vocalist Matt Schimelfenig. The group debuted with the EP from the basement to the garage in 2020, followed by the single "Fixer" in 2021. Their first fullâlength album, Safe Sins, was released on LameâO Records in 2020, establishing their presence in the local scene. In 2022, Donât Know What Youâre in Until Youâre Out was issued through Plum Records, and the band signed to Get Better Records in November 2025. The 2026 album No Need To Be Lonely, produced by Jeff Rosenstock, was launched on March 20, 2026, accompanied by a West Coast tour with Saintseneca and an East Coast tour with Noun. Their releases have charted on indie rock lists, and their touring collaborations have solidified their reputation within the contemporary rock community.
