Ginny Hawker & Tracy Schwarz was an American husband-and-wife folk music duo. Ginny Hawker was born April 22, 1940, and Tracy Schwarz was born November 13, 1938. They performed traditional early American bluegrass, gospel, and old-time music. Their career began with a focus on traditional repertoire but occasionally included original songs and contemporary compositions. In 2000, they released their album Good Songs for Hard Times, followed by Draw Closer in 2004. Tracy Schwarz was also a member of the New Lost City Ramblers, contributing to several albums with that group. Ginny Hawker continues to live in the small village of Tanner, West Virginia. Tracy Schwarz died on March 29, 2025, at the age of 86.
