Biography

George Leach, born on April 18, 1975, in Lillooet, British Columbia, is a Canadian musician and actor. As a Stl'atl'imx, Leach began his music career with the release of his debut album Just Where I'm At in 2000. He gained recognition for his work as a lead singer and songwriter, performing at notable events such as the National Aboriginal Achievement Awards. In 2013, he released his second album Surrender, which won him the Juno Award for Aboriginal Album of the Year in 2014. Leach also received multiple Aboriginal People's Choice Music Awards, including Best Male Artist of the Year in 2000 and Single of the Year for "Carry Me" in 2013. His acting career includes appearances on television shows like This is Wonderland, North of 60, PSI Factor, and Nikita.
