Biography

Genghis Tron, an American experimental metal band, was formed in 2004 in Poughkeepsie, New York. The group initially consisted of Mookie Singerman on vocals and keyboards, Hamilton Jordan on guitar, and Michael Sochynsky on keyboards and programming. In 2006, they released Board Up The House. The band toured with acts such as Behold... the Arctopus and Converge before going on an indefinite hiatus in 2010. After a decade of inactivity, they returned in 2020 with a new lineup featuring Tony Wolski on vocals and Nick Yacyshyn on drums, with Mookie Singerman no longer part of the group. Their comeback album Dream Weapon was released in 2021.
