Gönül Yazar is a Turkish classical music singer and actress born as MürÅide Gönül Ãzyenginer on 12 August 1936 in İzmir. She achieved professional recognition as the âTaÅ Bebekâ of the Turkish stage, a nickname derived from her 1960 film debut. Her recording career includes her debut studio album, Halime (1968), which featured the track âÃapkın Kızâ (1968), a rendition of Marie Laforêt's âMon amour, mon amiâ. Yazar released numerous studio recordings throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including Dertleri Zevk Edindim (1970), Artık Bu Solan Bahçede (1973), and Aldırma Gönül (1978). Her later discography includes the studio albums Gönül'den Gönüllere (1989) and Sevmek İstiyorum (1993). As an actress, she appeared in numerous films, such as TaÅ Bebek (1960), Bir Bahar AkÅamı (1961), and Tanık (1992).
