Furor Gallico, a Celtic folk metal band from Milan, Italy, was formed in 2007 by Melissa Milani (bass), Stefano (guitar), and Elisabetta Rossi (Celtic harp). Their first demo album, 390 b.c. - The Glorious Dawn, was released in 2008. In 2010, Furor Gallico released their self-titled debut full-length album, which blended growls, power guitars, and folk instruments. The band composed music for the opera Hamlet in Northern Italy during 2009/2010 and their second album, Songs from the Earth, was released in 2015 under Scarlet Records and received critical acclaim. In 2019, they released Dusk of the Ages. Furor Gallico is known for incorporating various vocal styles and traditional folk instruments into their music, often writing songs in both English and Italian.
