Biography

Flema is an Argentine punk rock group formed in 1986 in Gerli, Buenos Aires, Argentina. The band's initial lineup included Juan Manuel Fandiño and Fernando Cordera on vocals, with Sebastián Corona and Pablo Sara completing the original formation. In 1988, Ricky Espinosa joined as a guitarist. Flema's breakthrough came with the release of their debut album, El exceso y/o abuso de drogas y alcohol es perjudicial para tu salud... ¡Cuidate, nadie lo hará por vos! (1994). The album featured notable tracks like "Y aún yo te recuerdo" and "Metamorfosis adolescente". In 2002, lead vocalist Ricky Espinosa died after falling from a building. The band disbanded shortly afterward but reunited in 2007 for a commemorative show at Teatro Flores. Flema released subsequent music, including the album No nos rendimos (2015).
