Biography

Fayçal Azizi, born on February 26, 1986 in Tétouan, Morocco, is a Moroccan singer and actor. He started his career in theater after joining the Institut supérieur d'art dramatique et d'animation culturelle in Rabat in 2004. Azizi's first musical success came with the song "Werda ala Werda" from the film L'orange amère in 2006. In 2014, he began a solo career with a cover of the Judéo-Marocaine song "Haka A Mama," winning Best Electro Song at the Moroccan Music Awards in 2015. Notable singles include "Makayen Bass" (2016) and "Meftah Leqloub" (2017). Azizi's acting career includes roles in the French series Kaboul Kitchen (2012-2017), where he played Habib. His first leading role was in the telefilm Doublevé (W) (2017).
