Ezequiel y la Clave is an Argentine cumbia norteña project led by Mar del Plata singer-songwriter Ezequiel Pradas, built around a live-oriented format that leaned on covers and genre standards alongside original material. Formed after Pradas decided to go solo in 2006, the act began circulating widely on digital platforms by the late 2010s, anchored by the album Más Norteño Que Nunca (2017) and subsequent live sets documented on releases such as En Vivo En Pasión 2018 (2018) and En Vivo en Pasión 2019 (2019). In 2020, the group consolidated its catalog with Vivo (2020), keeping the focus on romantically driven repertory typical of the Argentine tropical circuit. During 2023, the bandâs activity stayed tied to performance and video content, including work around âPor éste amor,â which was reported as part of a then-current recording cycle. The projectâs profile rose further through the Un Poco de Ruido ecosystem, culminating in the collaborative âSi No Es Muy Tarde (Versión Cumbia)â credited to Luciano Pereyra, Ezequiel y la Clave, Un Poco de Ruido, and Pinky SD (2025). At the end of 2025, Ezequiel y la Clave issued the album Especial Sentimiento Nacional (2025) and also appeared on âDos DÃasâ with Grupo Play (2025).
