Biography

Ernie Haase & Signature Sound is an American Southern Gospel quartet formed in 2002 in Frankfort, Ohio. Founded by Ernie Haase and Garry Jones, the ensemble originally performed as The Signature Sound Quartet. The initial lineup featured Haase, Jones, Shane Dunlap, Doug Anderson, and Tim Duncan. The group released its debut studio album, Stand by Me, in 2003. Following the departure of Dunlap, the band recruited Ryan Seaton and changed its name to Ernie Haase & Signature Sound in 2004. The ensemble signed with the Gaither Music Group and performed on the Gaither Homecoming tours. Their discography included the recordings Ernie Haase & Signature Sound (2005), Get Away, Jordan (2007), and Dream On (2008). The group released 34 albums and 17 DVDs, including Live in Amsterdam: A 20th Anniversary Celebration (2023). Garry Jones died on April 27, 2025.
