Erich Rafael MartÃnez Plaza, better known as Erich, is a folk fusion solo artist from Aguascalientes, Mexico, whose music is deeply rooted in personal experiences. His acoustic-driven sound blends folk melodies with poetic lyrics and innovative vocal and guitar effects. Utilizing a loop pedal to create live sequences in real-time, Erichâs performances are a mesmerizing display of his musical talent. In 2017, he released his debut EP GalerÃa, an independently produced project recorded with the help of Aram Ezquivel, featuring artwork by Roberto Aguilera and digital design by Eduardo DÃaz. The melancholic and artistic EP marked the beginning of his career. Over the years, Erich has performed at notable events, including the Festival de la Guayaba, the Feria Nacional de San Marcos, and the Vive Latino festival in 2022. He has released two studio albums, Canciones I (2019) and HSN (2023), with his latest single "Igual No Debo," released in 2024, teasing his highly anticipated third album.
