Biography

American glam metal band, Enuff Z'Nuff, originating from Blue Island, Illinois, was founded in 1984 by Donnie Vie and Chip Z'nuff. The group initially gained recognition as opening acts for Poison and released their debut single "Fingers On It" in 1986, which appeared in the cult film Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. Their self-titled debut album was released on August 22, 1989, under Atco Records, featuring hits like "New Thing" and "Fly High Michelle". The band's second album, Strength, was released on March 26, 1991, and received critical acclaim from Rolling Stone. Despite commercial challenges, Enuff Z'Nuff continued to release albums including Animals With Human Intelligence (March 9, 1993) under Arista Records, and 10 (October 3, 2000). The band faced several lineup changes and tragedies, notably the deaths of guitarist Derek Frigo in 2004 and drummer Ricky Parent in 2007. Enuff Z'Nuff has released over 20 albums to date, including Dissonance (April 22, 2009), which featured collaborations with Jake E. Lee and Steven Adler. The band's music has been covered by artists like Paul Gilbert and Maroon 5, and they have appeared on notable shows such as The Late Show with David Letterman.
