Elizabeth Asher Bannister, born September 12, 1982, in Nashville, Tennessee, is an American CCMâfolk singerâsongwriter. She began her musical journey with Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors, later launching a solo career in 2011 with the Magnolia EP, which entered Billboard charts in September 2011. In 2013 she released With You Now, reaching Number 7 on the Christian Albums chart. Her debut studio album, As Sure as the Sun (Februaryâ¯18, 2014), earned her the 2014 GMA Dove Award for New Artist of the Year. Subsequent releases include Red Sea Road (Januaryâ¯27, 2017), Canyon (Juneâ¯25, 2021), Sing: Christmas Songs (Novemberâ¯1, 2022), and Far Country (September 12, 2025). Notable singles such as "Find You Here" and "Red Sea Road" charted in the Top Christian Singles, and her 2020 childrenâs album Sing: Remembering Songs received a Dove Award for Childrenâs Album of the Year.
