Biography

Electric Banana Band, a Swedish musical group, was formed in 1980 following the success of Trazan & Banarne, a popular children's television program. The band, known for its jungle theme inspired by elements from The Phantom and Tarzan, released their debut album, Electric Banana Band, in 1981. They competed in Melodifestivalen 2006 with the song "Kameleont" and released several notable albums including Banankontakt-Musikaltajm (2006) and Hello Sweat (2008). The band also released singles such as "Morfar & Kaninen" (2006) and "Banana Split" (2012). Despite being primarily a studio band, Electric Banana Band occasionally toured.
