Dieter Thomas Kuhn was born in TÃ¼bingen on January 7, 1965. The German pop singer's musical success story begins in the mid-1990s: while he achieves his first respectable successes with the two albums Lieder meines Lebens (1994) and Mein Leben fÃ¼r die Musik (1995), Kuhn enters the German sales list for the first time in 1997 with Gold at number 24. The musician, who also makes a name for himself as a film actor in films such as Der Trip - Die nackte Gitarre 0,5 (1996), wins an Echo in 1997. This was followed by further LP releases such as Wer Liebe Sucht (1998) and Leidenschaft, Lust & Liebe (1999), which reached number 26 in the German LP charts. The singer made further entries into the local charts during the 2000s, with Musik ist Trumpf (31st place), presented in 2007, and Schalala (39th place), released in 2009, standing out in particular. kuhn followed this up in 2012 with Hier ist das Leben, before releasing the live double LP Im Auftrag der Liebe in 2015.
