707 was an American rock band from Livonia, Michigan, formed in 1977. The original group consisted of Phil Bryant, Jim McClarty, Duke McFadden, and Kevin Russell. They achieved recognition with the single âI Could Be Good for Youâ (1980), which reached number 52 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their discography includes the self-titled album 707 (1980) and The Second Album (1981), the latter reaching number 159 on the Billboard 200. The ensemble recorded the album The Bridge in 1981, which was released in 2004. After signing with Boardwalk Records, the group released the album Mega Force (1982), which reached number 129. The title track âMega Forceâ (1982) reached number 12 on the Mainstream Rock chart and number 62 on the Hot 100. The band toured with acts including REO Speedwagon, Scorpions, and Ted Nugent. The group became inactive in 1983. McFadden passed away in 2005.
