Biography

Dreiviertelblut, a German band from Oberbayern, was formed in 2012 by Sebastian Horn and Gerd Baumann. The duo initially collaborated on film scores, notably for Sau Nummer vier Ein Niederbayernkrimi (2009) and Paradies 505 (2013). Their debut album, Lieder vom Unterholz, was released on October 11, 2013, via Millaphon Records. The band's first live performances began in 2014, including appearances at the Heimatsound-Festival and support for author Robert Hültner. On October 7, 2016, they released their second album, Finsterlieder, which was presented with the Münchner Symphoniker. The band's third album, Diskothek Maria Elend, was launched on September 28, 2018, followed by a tour. Dreiviertelblut also contributed to television soundtracks, including "Wos übrig bleibt" for Oktoberfest 1900.
