Biography
Quinnie is an American indie pop, folk and rock singer from New Jersey. Real name Quinn Barnitt, she began by posting her song demos on Bandcamp in 2017, before releasing her debut EP Gold Star two years later. Between 2021 and 2023, she performed as a duo with her producer Jake Weinberg under the name Critter, and continued to record on her own behalf in parallel, including her debut hit "Touch Tank" (2022), which charted officially in Ireland (#85) and in the USA in the Top 50 Rock & Alternative Songs (#32), going viral. In addition to the appearance of "Dear Father" on the Sonic Frontiers film soundtrack, Quinnie also releases the double single "Thank You Wisdom Angel I Love You", the tracks "Man", "Itch" and the album Flounder (2023). In 2024, three new songs are added to his repertoire with the EP You Can Hold the Stars Until They Burn Right Through Your Hands, before the 2025 release of the singles "Baja Bird" and "Paper Doll", taken from the album Paper Doll.
