Doomriders is an American stoner/sludge metal band from Boston, Massachusetts. The group initially gained traction with their early releases, including the EP Live at the Middle East and the album Black Thunder, both released in 2005. Doomriders' lineup included Nate Newton on guitar and vocals, who also played bass in Converge and guitar in Old Man Gloom, and Jebb Riley on bass and vocals. The band's discography expanded with subsequent releases such as the EP Not of this World (2005), the split album Long Hair and Tights (2007) with Boris, and the album Darkness Come Alive (2009). Doomriders toured extensively, sharing stages with bands like Coliseum and Saviours. Their third studio album, Grand Blood, was released in 2013 through Deathwish Inc., marking a significant milestone in their career.
