Donald T. Rondeau, known professionally as Don Rondo, was an American singer born on January 5, 1930, in Ware, Massachusetts. His career took off with the release of "Two Different Worlds" in October 1956, which spent three months on the Billboard chart and peaked at number 11, selling over a million copies. Rondo's next significant hit was "White Silver Sands", released in 1957, which reached number 7 on the charts and became Jubilee Records' biggest-selling record. By the mid-1960s, Rondo transitioned into broadcasting, working on voiceovers for radio and television commercials and later becoming a radio presenter in New Hampshire. He passed away on January 27, 2011, after battling lung cancer for a year.
