VVIP, originally known as VIP (Vision in Progress), is a Ghanaian Hiplife music group formed in 1997 by Friction (Musah Haruna) and his friends. The group initially consisted of Zeal (Abdul Hamid Ibrahim) and Prodigal (Joseph Nana Ofori). Their breakthrough came when they were discovered at a street carnival in 1997. They released their debut album Bibi Baa O in 1998 under Precise Music, which gained them significant popularity in Accra. Their 2003 album Ahomka Womu topped the Ghanaian charts for over 20 weeks and won them five awards at the Ghana Music Awards. After Friction's departure and Promzy's exit, Reggie Rockstone joined, and the group renamed itself VVIP. The group has toured extensively worldwide and was among the most famous artists in Ghana.
