Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, an alternative rock band from Copenhagen, Denmark, formed in October 1988. The power trio consisted of Tim Christensen (vocals, guitar), Martin Nielsen (bass guitar), and Søren Friis (drums). They initially practiced instrumentally while searching for a vocalist but eventually settled on Christensen as the lead singer. Their debut concert was held in Valby in December 1989. The band's breakthrough came with their self-titled debut album Dizzy Mizz Lizzy released in April 1994, which included the hit song "Waterline". They followed this success with Rotator in April 1996. After disbanding in 1998, Christensen pursued a solo career. The band reunited in 2010 for a tour, which led to the release of their third studio album Forward in Reverse in 2016 and its successor Alter Echo in 2020. Dizzy Mizz Lizzy is credited with heading the 1990s rock revival in Denmark.
