Dinamita pa' los Pollos are a Spanish country rock and rockabilly group from Ortuella, formed in 1986. The members are Roberto âCapitán mondoâ Mata, Javier Zaitegui, Ãscar âWildcatâ Calleja, Miguel Labanda, and the backing vocalists the Bloody Marys. The ensemble released the debut work Bienvenidos al gallinero in 1987. In 1988, Mata, Zaitegui, Calleja, and Labanda released the mini-album No molestes a Pa' cuando está trabajando, which included the song âBourbonâ and a cover of âThe Loco-Motionâ. The 1989 album Purita Dinamita, produced by Paco Trinidad, reached gold record status and featured the songs âBilly Joeâ, âToro mecánicoâ, and âPandillerosâ. The group subsequently released the albums Sin rodeos (1990) and Juntos y revueltos (1992). Following the expiration of their recording contract, the ensemble became inactive in 1992. The compilation album Los mejores años de nuestras vidas was released in 1993, followed by DiscografÃa básica in 2002.
