Dicht & Ergreifend is a hip-hop band from Germany that was founded in 2014. The special thing about the lyrics is that many of them are written in Bavarian dialect. The duo, consisting of Lef Dutti (real name Fabian Frischmann) George Urkwell (real name Michael Huber), celebrated their first successes on social media in 2014. In 2015, Dicht & Ergreifend released their debut album Dampf der Giganten. The follow-up Ghetto mi nix o made it into the German charts at number 27 in 2018. Dicht & Ergreifend then went on an extensive tour. The band played at various festivals and also gave a concert at the Olympiahalle in Munich. Another studio album, Es werde dicht, follows in 2023. The longplayer climbs into the top 10 of the German album charts at number 15.
