Biography
Majyuran Ragunathan, aka Majoe, is a German hip-hop artist of Sri Lankan heritage who began rapping in Duisberg with Jasmin Nuradinovic aka Jasko as the duo Majoe & Jasko in 2005. They made one EP and he went on to collaborate on tracks with Kollegah. His 2014 debut solo album 'Breiter als Der Türsteher' topped the Germany Albums Chart as did 'Breiter als 2 Türsteher' (2015) and 'Auge des Tigers' (2017). Several singles including 'BADT' (2014) featuring Farid Bang and Kollegah, 'Narben' (2017) featuring Mo Trip and 'Desert Eagle' (2017) with Kurdo, made it onto the lower levels of the Germany Singles Chart and the album 'Blanco' with Kurdo went to number six on the Germany Albums Chart. His 2018 release 'Frontal' peaked at number 15. In 2019 he released the single 'Chellam'.
