Dernière Volonté is a French dark wave ensemble established in 1995. They achieved professional recognition for a musical career characterized by dark wave, neofolk, and electropop and for being a project initiated by the musician Geoffroy Delacroix. The project achieved professional recognition for a career that began in 1994 with a martial and dark wave neo-classical sound influenced by industrial music. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Obéir et mourir (1998) released on the label La Nouvelle Alliance. Delacroix achieved professional recognition for recording early structures on cassette tapes. The project achieved professional recognition for a transition to vocals and melodies on the studio recording Les Blessures de l'ombre (2003) which blended electro-martial sounds with electropop. Their discography included the studio recording Devant le miroir (2006), the studio recording Immortel (2010), and the studio recording Mon meilleur ennemi (2012). Delacroix achieved professional recognition for collaborating with the ensemble Nový SvÄt, the ensemble His Divine Grace, and the ensemble Die Krupps. Their recording career included the studio recording Prie pour moi (2016), the studio recording Frontière (2019), and the studio recording Cristal (2022).
