Der Tobi & Das Bo were a German hip-hop duo from Elmshorn, consisting of Mirko BogojeviÄ (Das Bo) and Tobias Schmidt (Tobi Tobsen). The duo gained initial recognition with the release of their first single "Der Racka" in 1994. Their debut album Genie und Wahnsinn liegen dicht beieinander was released in 1995, followed by a compilation titled Genie Und Wahnsinn ("Wir Sind Die Best Of's") in 1996. Despite occasional criticism from the hip-hop community for their uncritical approach to lyrics, Der Tobi & Das Bo achieved notable success with songs like "Is mir egal (Scheiss egal)" and "Wir sind die Besten". They collaborated with other artists such as Fettes Brot on "Nordisch by Nature" and Deichkind on "Roll das Fass rein". The duo disbanded in the mid-1990s, but reunited for a live performance in 2015.
