Biography

Dennis SchÃ¤fer, known professionally as Dennis Sheperd, is a German trance DJ and producer from Essen. His breakthrough came in 2007 with the production "A Tribute to Life", which gained support from several notable DJs and led to a contract with euphonic records. One of his most successful releases was the single "Black Sun" and its remix by Ronski Speed. Sheperd collaborated extensively with Cold Blue, notably on the single "Freefalling". In 2011, he released his debut album, A Tribute to Life, which included the Number 1 hit in Beatport's trance charts, "Fallen Angel". That year, he also remixed tracks for prominent artists such as Above & Beyond and TiÃ«sto. Sheperd has since released several albums, including Fight Your Fears (2015), Find the Sunrise (2021), and Onwards // Upwards (2022). His work includes collaborations with artists like Markus Schulz, tyDi, and Roger Shah.
