Dawn Joanne Langstroth, born on April 16, 1979 in Toronto, Canada, is a singer and songwriter. Raised in Toronto, she began her music career with the release of her first EP No Mercy in April 2008. Her debut album, Highwire, was released in 2009. Langstroth has collaborated with notable acts such as Jann Arden, The Rankin Family, Shelby Lynne and John McDermott. She is also known for her work with Grammy Award-winning producers Phil Ramone, George Massenburg, and Ed Cherney. In addition to her music career, Langstroth is an accomplished painter, recognized for a playful, semi-cubist illustration style that often includes family pets.
